Festivities at the Cromhouthuis

From 15 November, Cromhouthuis will be completely devoted to celebrating the festive period. Stylists’ collective The Wunderkammer will be providing lavish decorations in the historic rooms of this monumental building. In addition to the stylish splendour of The Wunderkammer, Cromhouthuis will also be the place this autumn to enjoy fine dining and attend festive musical events and workshops.

Workshops
There is lots to do during the holidays, and the characteristic style of The Wunderkammer ensures a special atmosphere throughout the house. On two Wednesdays, 16 and 23 November, there will be a special workshop on creating an advent wreath organised by the stylists from The Wunderkammer, including a luxury high tea in Café Cromhout. Tickets cost €75.

Culinary
For our culinary customers, we are putting on special events this autumn. In Café Cromhout, a range of exclusive themed dinners will be held, with a seasonal menu, a wine arrangement and a splendid décor designed by The Wunderkammer. On 19 November, the theme of the meal will be ‘Tastes of Autumn’, and Saturday, 17 December, will appropriately be devoted to the theme of ‘Christmas’. To mark the end of the festive season, guests can dine and raise a glass at the special ‘Happy New Year’ dinner on Saturday, 7 January.

Concerts
There is also room for music. From 6 November, Cromhouthuis will be the new venue for the Geelvinck Salon, a series of intimate chamber concerts by various musicians on the Erard grand piano dating from 1896 and previously owned by Romain d’Ansembourg. Every Sunday from 16.00 until 17.00, a concert will be held in the Grand Salon (Grote Salon) entitled “Music on the Canal, Geelvinck Salon in Cromhouthuis
